Consent to Serve
I hereby accept appointment to serve as a Director of The Art of Drinking Water (“the Organization”) and agree to fulfill my duties in accordance with the Organization’s mission, bylaws, and policies.
Acknowledgements
- I understand that board service is voluntary and unpaid.
- I acknowledge my fiduciary duties of care, loyalty, and obedience.
- I have received, read, and agree to comply with the Organization’s Conflict of Interest Policy.
- I understand that any compensated services must be performed in a non-board capacity, approved by an independent board vote, and subject to disclosure and recusal requirements.
- I agree to maintain confidentiality regarding non-public Organization matters.
Important: Board members who also serve in operational or contractor roles must clearly separate
governance responsibilities from paid services and comply with all disclosure and recusal requirements.
